Formed in late 2016, Plinko quickly made a name for themselves in the jam band scene. After opening for Broccoli Samurai, and catching a few sets of ears, the word spread about catching a Plinko show all across Eastern Ohio. From The Agora in Cleveland to The Outpost in Kent, to Thornville for The Werkout Music and Arts Festival, you could find Plinko rocking out their unique blend of Progressive rock with Primus style funk and attitude.
In 2020, covid closed a majority of music venues, and drummer Drew was forced to relocate to California. After a 2 year hiatus, Plinko was close to hanging up the towel, when drummer Jake auditioned just in time to save the band.
