Abandoned Vehicles

Sam Curfman

Sam Curfman is a prolific songwriter who has been active in Akron and Kent for more than ten years, performing both solo and with his band, Blue Radio. Sam is recognizable for his rich, deep voice and his complex yet relatable lyrics. He brings a lot of energy, even to acoustic performances, and many who watch him play are never the same again (in a good way).

Nathan David Clark

For the past ten years, Nathan David Clark has sat in his dark basement producing hundreds of instrumental tracks and writing songs that interweave aspects of hip hop, blues, RnB, and classical piano. After amassing numerous original songs he is ready to share them with the world.

Growing up in the city of Chicago during the 90s, Nate watched and listened as his father wrote for and played in a local jazz band. He attended Franklin Fine Arts Academy where he learned to play the piano from a young age, while getting introduced to the guitar in high school.

Even though he was surrounded by music his entire life, it wasn’t until Nate was an adult that he began producing and writing his own songs. Bringing elements of the classical piano he grew up playing, mixed with Hip Hop and a little bit of Blues guitar, his music spans multiple genres. Nate describes his music as “chill hop blues”. Feeling most at home sitting in front of his midi keyboard creating an instrumental track, every once in a while he is motivated through stream of consciousness writing to match lyrics to his melodic compositions, creating a spoken word type feel at times.

Nate has released 2 albums, 1 EP, and numerous singles under the name Nathan David Clark.
