Wake Magnolia is a two piece alternative rock band from Akron, OH consisting of Nick Galbincea (Guitar & Vocals) and Adam Miller (Drums). The band’s sound can be described as dirty melodic rock comprising of a fuzzy and thick guitar tone, loud complimenting drums and a booming and powerful vocal. Despite being only comprised of two members, Wake Magnolia is a wall of sound filled with catchy riffs and tons of energy. Wake Magnolia released their first EP, "Smile Anyway", in June 2018. The band began working on their first studio album, “Shadow Cast Light”, in early 2019 at Superior Sound Studios in Cleveland, OH with producer Jim Wirt (Incubus, Fiona Apple, Brian Setzer, Jimmie’s Chicken Shack), and released the album in April 2022. Wake Magnolia has been played on more than 100 radio station across the United States, east to west coast. In 2021, the band was national finalists in the Jack Daniel’s Battle of the Bar Bands presented by iHeartRadio. In 2022, Wake Magnolia was awarded best rock band in the Cleveland Music Awards. Wake Magnolia has been reviewed and featured in several magazines, including New Noise Magazine, VENTS Magazine and Ghettoblaster Magazine. The band currently has active licensing contracts with Discovery, NASCAR, Miz & Mrs, The Real World and MTV. If you are looking for a band that is high energy, all about the riffs and loud, real loud… you’re in for a treat!
LILIEAE
Bio:
LILIEAE (pronounced LIL-EE-AY) is a rock band from Cleveland, Ohio. Their sound stems from a wide range of rock genre influences including classic rock, metal, punk, grunge, and alternative 90s. Founders and front-women Lydia Puccini and Kayleigh Hyland released their debut EPLevelin 2019. Shortly after, Joe Stefano, Donald Pelc, and Eric Kennedy joined the band, and together they wrote and recorded their second and third EPs,RUN! RUN! RUN!in 2021,Pretend & Darein 2023. The beginning of 2024 came with a small lineup change when Kennedy parted with the group, and long-time friend Griffin Pereksta stepped in to take the open guitar spot. They continue to perform and write regularly, with plans to release new music in 2025.
RECESS
Recess is a high energy, original Pop/Alt band from Cleveland, OH. The band's EP was recognized by Global Citizen via Twitter and they were invited to their offices in NYC (2019). They were on Season 2 of Topgolf’s “Who Will Rock You". They headlined Edgewater Live (Cleveland 2019). Recess has played the House of Blues (Cleveland 2018), the Cowan (Nashville, TN 2019), the Viper Room (Hollywood, CA 2019), and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (Cleveland 2019) for the Bon Jovi induction ceremony.
THE 37’S
The 37's are a newly formed rock/punk trio composed of veteran players in the Akron music scene. They're a groovy, at times heavy band playing inspired and adapted covers that will get your blood pumping and body moving!
