Sunbird
Based in the suburbs of Akron, OH, Sunbird is a folk band that draws from roots and influences in all different genres- Folk, Metal, Americana, and Pop. The band is emotionally driven by everyday life experiences, which reflects vividly in their music.
Lauren Brabson, who developed as a solo singer-songwriter, began to form the band with drummer Alex Kornas in November 2022. Upping the energy of their original music, the two recruited Cody Griffin to groove along on the bass. Their chemistry was instant but missing something. In December 2022, the band added Noah Kornas as the lead guitarist and backing vocalist to connect that missing link and round the band.
