Don’t Believe in Ghosts
Don’t Believe in Ghosts are an alternative indie pop band formed and based in New York City. Led by singer, songwriter, and producer Steven Nathan, the group features Dan DelVecchio on guitar, Alex Goumas on bass, and Ken Yang on drums.
The band signed with Imagen Records/Warner ADA in 2020, and is best known for their song “Put Your Head Back”, which was featured in, and on the soundtrack of, the AppleTV+ show, “WeCrashed” - starring Jared Leto and Anne Hathaway. The song was mixed by Mark Needham, of ‘The Killers’ and ‘Imagine Dragons’ fame, and has received critical acclaim by multiple outlets across the country.
Other achievements include singles at alternative radio stations across the country, 2+ million plays on Retail Radio, charting at #2 on All Access, and song features on many other TV shows, including “Ink Master” and “The U.S. Open”. The band has been featured in American Songwriter, Kings of A&R, and Alternative Press Magazine, who included them in their “40 Artists You Need to Hear” list. They’ve also been on multiple tours around the mideast and west, played alongside COIN at the House of Blues, and were invited to perform at “The Gathering” Radio Convention in Cleveland.
“Don’t give energy to the ghosts of your past.” Says Steven Nathan when describing the meaning behind the bands' name. “Worrying about what other people may think can be draining and debilitating.” Don’t Believe In Ghosts amplifies this theme throughout their music, which is honest, inventive, and meaningful. The result is a catalog of songs that are ambitious, yet relatable.

Shelby Olive
Influenced by the sounds of Sara Bareilles and Orla Gartland, Shelby has combined her love of storytelling with catchy earworm melodies. With songs about jealousy, inadequacy, and the ups and downs of love-- her music reflects her personality in an honest and open way. After damage to her vocal cords in early 2015 that would later require surgery and three months of complete silence, she relied heavily on songwriting to get her through it all.
Shelby released her debut album, Make Sound, in February of 2018 and followed it up with her sophomore EP, Bad for Me, in June 2019. In 2021, her body positive anthem, Nothing Wrong With Me, garnered the attention of over 13K followers on TikTok. Shelby has played venues all across the Midwest region and has opened for a variety of national artists including Dermot Kennedy, Maggie Rose, and Eric Hutchinson. Her song, Out of Here, was a finalist in Broadway’s Taylor Louderman (Mean Girls) Write Out Loud musical theatre composer contest 2020. Other accomplishments include winning the Akron High Arts Festival in 2017 and finishing as the runner-up the following year. Shelby holds a BA degree from Kent State University in Music Education. She currently teaches K-5 general music in Cuyahoga Falls, OH. For more info about Shelby Olive, find her website (www.shelbyolive.com) or other social media platforms.
