Under The Rug

Since forming over a decade ago, Austin, TX trio Under the Rug have cut their teeth as songwriters and engineers, writing and recording dozens of projects, amassing a dedicated fanbase, garnering praise from major publications like American Songwriter and independent tastemaker blogs including Mystic Sons, Two Story Melody, Comeherefloyd, LA On Lock and more, and even receiving a co-sign from The Mountain Goats’ John Darnielle.
Lead singer, songwriter and guitarist Casey Dayan, guitarist Sean Campbell, drummer Brendan McQueeney, and percussionist Dominic Turchiarelli have taken a fanatical and steadfast approach to DIY marketing, which has helped grow the band’s audience exponentially since their 2019 debut album Pale King.
With their sophomore LP Dear Adeline, the band has grossed over $100,000 within the first month of their CD campaign, and have received tens of thousands of comments from a fierce fanbase on social media, including 300 members from their own home-brewed membership service, The Secret Hideout.

Coming off the success of  “Dear Adeline”, Under The Rug plans to hit the road this coming Spring of 2023 in celebration of their upcoming album “Homesick for Another World”. This album will be the third LP released by the band, comprised of their most popular and powerful tunes to date, amassing a boastful 2.7 million views on social media platforms before the official release of the first single.
Packing a decade’s worth of friendship and songwriting in a beat-up van, Under the Rug’s on-the-go work ethic has yielded an expansive record, written on the road to Los Angeles, brimming with hope and hard-won truths from the heart. They're a band that believes putting the work in manifests success.

Homesick For Another World is a meditation on alienation. It combats the grim realities of life and death and loneliness with levity and heartfulness, offering urgent lyrics in a playful manner that prioritize magical realism, surreal humor, and piercing insights on modern malaise. The album will be released in February 2023, yet has already begun to create some serious buzz in the Indie music scene.

Basic Printer

Basic Printer is the "Gloitchpop" music project of Jesse Gillenwalters, raised in Binghamton, NY, now operating from Nashville, TN. BP delightfully combines elements of synthpop, indie rock, and hip hop into a delightfully vulnerable and inventive sound. Gillenwalters, a long-time lover of concept albums, often injects dense emotional centers into most Basic Printer songs for listeners interested in dissecting further...but don't worry, you can also just bop along to the quirky beats and synthy 'isms' the project has become known for if you're not looking to scan through the "lore". Basic Printer's latest record, "HAHA YEAH", is a self-described musical temper tantrum attempting to shake off a bad relationship. The result is a varied and dynamic experimental pop record with high highs and low lows. He's currently touring with similarly irreverent weirdos Under the Rug, representing the new album's music in a duo lineup with long-time drummer Aaron Walters.

Empty Coats

Formed in 2018 by Jim curtis, empty coats has been supplying healthy amounts of guitar harmony riffs to a, in our opinion, starved Midwest music listening community. Songs laden with melody and contrast, each member brings their own style and flair. Each wears a different coat that is certainly not empty.
