The Labra Brothers
The Labra Brothers have established themselves regionally, not only as the standard within their core genre of Latin Funk & Soul, but also as a dynamic and diverse juggernaut of musical presentation. With three-part sibling vocal harmonies at the forefront, their versatility has become more evident with each new original studio recording they have released. The Brothers had an eventful 2022, during which they played a direct support role for Average White Band, released their 6-song EP Waiting, and were named "Best Latin" by the Cleveland Music Awards.
A Labra Brothers event is an adrenaline anchor performance that includes high-energy Latin percussion, funky
rhythms, sax and smooth vocal harmonies. The Labras have shared the stage with nationally recognized acts like
Average White Band, Hunny, Will Hoge, Sister Hazel, and Red Wanting Blue. Their debut album, “Colder Weather” was released on CD, vinyl, and streaming platforms in 2019. Most recently, they released their EP, Waiting, in April 2022. Be on the lookout for the next Labra Brothers release, and don’t miss your next opportunity to see this band live.
Anya Van Rose
Playful and sweet grounded with dark, guitar-driven grit, Anya Van Rose is a dynamic writer that doesn't shy away from paradox. Her upcoming record set to release in 2023 is the afterglow of a starry-eyed daydream where perspective shifts from head-in-the-clouds reverie to the fiercely feminine.
In the summer of 2022, Anya harnessed her inner-Ferris Bueller and was featured as the first musical act to perform on a float in Canton, Ohio’s Pro Football Hall of Fame parade. She recreated a scene from her upcoming parade-themed music video and won an award for the float she designed. Anya was also featured in Weathervane Music’s recording workshop series where she worked with producer Brian McTear (Sharon Van Etten, Waxahatchee, Hop Along) to record the first song, “Flies” on her debut EP.
Anya is joined by Austin Wolfe, John King and Austin Popovich to satiate your sweet, candy-grunge loving palette just in case the 90’s left you hungry for more.
Eastwood
Formed during the summer of 2018 by music students at Capital University, Eastwood began as a group of friends writing songs together at 1286 Eastwood Avenue. Today, Eastwood is one of the up-and-coming indie-soul/pop bands in the vibrant Columbus, Ohio music scene. An eclectic blend of old pop and new pop, soul and funk, Eastwood prides themselves on writing songs with catchy melodies that get stuck in your head, and strong grooves that keep your body moving. The five-piece band has shared the stage with nationally touring groups, Seratones and Carver Commodore, and has performed at venues all over Ohio, including The Basement, Rumba Café, Woodlands Tavern, Westside Bowl, Columbus Arts Festival, The Summit Music Hall, and many more. In the summer of 2020, Eastwood released their debut self-titled EP, and just this past year, the band released their first full length album, “Eastwood Two.”
