The Stereotypes

Hi! We are The Stereotypes, an indie rock trio based in Cleveland, Ohio. The band is composed of twenty-year old's Terry Porter (bass/keyboard/vocals), Gavin Mckitrick (drums/vocals), and twenty-one-year-old Andrew Koba (guitar/vocals). The three of us have been playing as The Stereotypes since December 2, 2016, when we were still in high school. Through the last several years we’ve worked on refining our songwriting and honing a sound we feel is reflective of us. We’re deeply inspired by the New Wave music of the late 70’s and early 80’s as well as modern indie rock artists including Arctic Monkeys, The 1975, and Tame Impala. Thanks to a busy live schedule and growing outreach, we’ve been able to write new material that will see tons of release in 2023.

Funeral Proposals

Spawned in Akron, Ohio, Funeral Proposals have forged a unique, indie rock sound that is all their own.

Curated by Holden Shumate (Vocals, Guitar) alongside Ryan Hanlon (Lead Guitar) and Sam Gucciardo (Drums), Funeral Proposals recently acquired Gavin Gunn (Bass) to solidify the most creative and live version of the band yet.

Two small tours of the Midwest in 2018 breathed life into their first single, "Lizards” followed by "Beach Song".

The latest 2022 release "Easy Tiger" showcases their most ambitious songwriting so far.

Funeral Proposals are currently working on an EP to be released in 2023.
